@EN Spium japonicum was elucidate with respect to its distribution and ecology. As the result of distributional survey of this plant, Mt. Kyeryong appears to be the northern limit among its natural habitats in the central area of Korea. From he
investigation of floral composition in each habitat, this plant seems not to have allelopathic relationships with special plant taxa because of its coexistence with 130 species of 60 family. Ecologically, this plant is considered to be a day
neutral
plant. And this plant seems likely to be developed as the drugs because of its abundance in resources and its piscicidal or antifungal effect.
